Modern Jazz Today Episode #134, this week for our new discoveries and unearthed gems we compiled a list of artists that are bringing jazz, some seriously hip new sounds.
In the new discoveries category, we brought in sounds from one man that wrote and performed everything on his latest album, we’re talking “Gateway” from Dred Scott’s album, Rides Alone. Next up was “Focus Poem” from the new Jonathan Scales Fourchestra album called Pillar, which features the ever creative Béla Fleck on banjo.
