Modern Jazz Today Episode #142. We are finally making the turn to cooler temperatures. After 128 days in a row of over 90 degrees the fall crispness is a welcomed change.
In that spirit of crisp and inviting, in the new discovery’s category, we took a look at Connie Han’s new release Crime Zone. The 22-year-old plays with a powerful zest and vigor. The track we featured is “Southern Rebellion.”In the unearthed gems category, we took a look at the legendary John Scofield. Being an 8-string guitarist myself, any opportunity to dig into jazz guitar releases is an affinity for me.
